Power Prayer on the Rock Church |
| |
Description:
Power Prayer on the Rock Church wanted a logo that would convey
the reason for establishment of their church...prayer. They
also believe that there is power in numbers when praying. I
took those two beliefs and displayed them by depicting a group
of people praying on what looks like a rock. The simple black
and white of the charcoal logo brings your attention to the
words and the message. |

Dwolf.net Hosting (dwolf.net) |
| |
Description:
Dwolf.net Hosting specializes in providing inexpensive hosting
solutions. They actually provide the web space I use to test
my FrontPage web templates. The owner did not ask me to create
a logo for them, but I decided that the company name was just
ripe for a great design. The two you see above are my favorites
of all the samples I made.
If you're interested in great customer service from your hosting
company, you should definitely give them a try.

SpeedJunkie.net |
| |
Description:
SpeedJunkie.net was a portal for car enthusiasts. The goal of
this logo was to emphasis race cars, so they type was given
the "drive by" feel that you get when a car speeds
by you. The "fireball" dot for the letter "i"
adds to the speed theme by adding to the "drive by"
imagery. (This site is no longer active.) |

C.A.R.E. (rescueeffort.org) |
| |
Description:
C.A.R.E. is a private nonprofit organization acting as a regional
sanctuary for the needs of animals, pet owners, and their Community
at large. In order to project that image, a friendly logo was
requested. That was achieved by using the bright, multiple colors.
The colors also symbolizes that C.A.R.E. saves multiple types
of animals, not just dogs and cats. (This site has been transferred
to the organization for maintenance and migration to a new server,
so it is presently down at the moment.) |

Turtletopia.net |
| |
Description:
Turtletopia is a portal for turtle and tortoise information.
This attractive and colorful design was created to symbolize
the coloring of turtles, which is mainly green, with a few accents
here and there. A chunky, yet abrupt font was used in the name
in order to convey the sporadic movements of the slow yet strong
turtles and tortoises. The added touch of the turtle with the
tongue hanging out gives it that spark of fun!

Jubilee Creations |

Description:
Jubilee Creations is the parent company of the Jubilee Product
family, a collection of Christian books and teaching materials
targeted at African Americans. The product family includes 3
entities: The Jubilee Legacy, The Legacy of Virtues, and Jubilee
Heroes & Heroines. The goal of the product family is to
focus on spiritual growth and journey's of faith, yet tie each
to the umbrella entity: The Jubilee Legacy. Different images
were chosen to depict the themes of "journey's of faith"
with the dove and "spiritual growth" with the strong,
rooted tree and its extended branches. The rising sun was added
to symbolize the hope for a new day that comes as a result of
spiritual growth and journey's of faith. All three logos are
tied together by their rich and luxurious color scheme. |

The Note Shop |
| |
Description:
The Note Shop is a musical instruments store. This was "noted"
(haha! get the pun?) by including a set of notes in the logo.
The type is shifted to one side in order to project the look
of a flute when held in someone's hands. Overall, a really great
logo that gets the message across! |
